Biblic flooding and possible astriod impact.

Then most astriods do have very eccentric orbits, then the original article from Otto H. Muck suggested that the cataclysm could have been caused by a compagnion of one of the following today known astriods: “Eros” (discovered in 1898), “Alinda” (1918), “Ganymède” (1924), “Amor” (1932”, “Apollo” (1934), “Adonis” (1936) , “Hermès” (1937).

Then a destabilized orbit of a celestial object caused by a Big Planet (Jupiter Saturn Uranus and Nepune) line-up could very well cause a collision in a worst case condition to have happened. (Yes worst case conditions do happen, even then when you dont want them, and you dont expect them, like Nuclear Powerplant accidents, or like the runway accident involving two jumbojets with over (500 people killed)

Then a worst case condition would be the following, near to complete lingup of the planets Jupiter Saturn Uranus and Nepune on the other side of the Sun, and on our side side of the Sun, Venus Moon and finaly the Earth, adding up all gravity forces and ease up by this the capture of an celestical object comming a little to close to the Earth orbit.     All this together with one or the other Astriod or group of Astriods, or even a comet passing a little to close to the Earth orbit, will cause a colision to happen due to the object being captured by this added up gravity of the Earth and the other planets.

Sorry for the people doing astrology, but I did not include Mercury nor Mars because they will not make much differenceif any.     Mercury because to close to the Sun and the mass relationship Sun - Mercury renders the effect totaly nill.     And Mars because of its Mass - Distance² relationship, it's of to little mass and to far away to make any notable difference anyway.

The red - yellow orbit illustrates an astriod or comet orbit causing the impact to slow down the rotation speed of the Earth and is therefore in opposite direction to the Earth rotation.

The blue - green orbit illustrates an astriod or comet orbit causing the impact to accelerate the rotation speed of the Earth and is therefore in the same direction as the Earth rotation.

In fact both orbits could have caused both conditions, but this picture is just for illustration how a collision could have happened.   The red - yellow will more likely hit the Earth at daytime and the blue - green orbit will more likely hit the Earth at night time.

A place for a possible astriod or comet impact is illustrated by this image.    Then this image illustrates a field around the North American town Charleston of today completely paet filled craters, all a result of an collission with a meteor, astriod or even a comet.

The craters form a field of an eliptical form which looks like to continue over the coastline into the ocean like as presented here by a dotted line.

This immage illustrates important seimic activities around the Charleston zone, who could indicate than the Earth crust has been altered or damaged at this point.

One should note that nomally there should not be any tectonic plate movement at this erea, then those are at least 1000 Kms further south, so the second raison for this seismic activity could be that the Earth crust has been badly damaged by a cataclysm, and did not completely stabilize since then.

This crater looks to be about 500 Kms by 700 Kms, and corresponds perfectly to an object size of 50 Km to 66 Km, than an impact crater is usualy 10 times the object size.

Anyway do not try to find any trace of an object here, then an object of that size going at 30 Km / sec just makes a big hole and contignues his way like bullet, and will enter very far the Earth going towards the cernter of the Earth until it completely stopped.

A side effect of having an impact in a depth of over 4'000 meters is that at pressure of over 400 bars, even water will stay liquid whatever the termperature is (this is usually called the critical pressure of a liquid or gas), and that volcanic gazes stay liquid to for the same raison, and this due to the pressure being over the critical pressure (That is a pressure where gazes can no longer exist in gazious form, and will stay liquid or even solid), and that most of the volcanic gazes are in liquid state heavier as water and will as such stay, or end up on the ocean floor instead of making it up to the ocean surface.

Then such an impact on a continent would have wiped out live for some million years, because the object would have exploded and the freeing up the total it's kenetical energie of the impact in the air would have had the same or even worst effect as a Thermonuclear War.    As this was the case whith the astriod collission causing the dissapearing of the dinosaures 65'000'000 years ago.    In our case, the water must have filtered 99% of all the volcanic dirt and dust, and did as well absorb near the total of all the kenetic energie of the impact, then de density of 5'000 meters of water if many - many times then the density of the air the object had to travel trough.     Therefore an impact in the sea at a depth over 4'000 meters avoids the above mentioned stuf to make its way to the surface and to the upper atmosphere and stratosphere, and leaving us today with an raisonable climat.

An other side effect of an celestical object ripping up the ocean floor is that the heat of magma of over 1'200 °C in contact with water in a depth of over 4'000 meters will cause the water to be heated up and initiate a cicular mouvement, (the same happens during cooking) and transfering by doing so the heat of the magma to the surrounding environment (ocean water is heated up).

One side effect of this cicular mouvement is that the liquified or even solidified gazes, (note that at 400 bars most gazes stay liqiud) and most of the volcanic dust and dirt does not make it up to the surface and follows this cicular mouvement, drops afterwards somewere on the ocean floor where they still should be found as of today.     Thereby we may expect to find solidified gazes and volcanic remains about everywere on the North Atlantic ocean floor, and this besides any debris of the accompagnion volcanic erruptions, caused by the chockwave of the impact.

An other side effect of the the warming up of the oceans warter is that this causes an significant increase of avaporation wich in turn will cause very havy rain on the continents.     This again may explain all the flooding stories and may render the flooding within the possibilities.

The first possibility is 1. It never happened (Some scientists pretend that it never could have happened), the second is 2. The whole world is flooded (Bible pretends it), the third possibility is in the midle of both is 3. A part of the world is more or less flooded. (Plato's dialogs who wrote: « the survivors in your country are herdsmen and shepherds who dwell on the mountains »).

How it happend?, again both Bible and Plato tell us that this flooding was due to exessive rain, and not a result of an innundation (Plato who wrote: « a single night of excessive rain »).    First of all because there is not enough water on the Earth to innundate the whole world, not even with rain, so we can consider that at biblic time the people had a wrong image of the world (see picture below), or the whole event looked to them worst as was in reality, then when one sees nothing but water around him asq the result of exessive rain, then he may tend to think that the whole world must look like this.

This hovever rises a question, rain requires the water to be evaporated first and this evaporation process requires in trun a lot of energie in the form of heat, which could not have been dilivered by sunshine and must have come from somewhere else.    The added up heat of all the magma being in contact with the ocean water as well a part of the kenetic energie of an astriod or komet impact being tranformed into heat will be more as enough to do the job.    This would have given up to 500 meters of rain onto Europe and China, and as much as up to 50 meters of rain for the rest of the world.

This is how the world looked like according the people living at 2'000 BC, and the catholic chuch up to 1400, and this part is indeed not very big, and could have been flooded by exessive rain, like the stories do tell us.

The Inca indians do also have stories about flooding due to excessive rain, who according to them did not reach the mountains, however the correct details may have been lost, since they did not write anything down, but transmitted them in the form of songs, and been brought to Europe by the Spanish invaders.

I think that most of the rain must have fallen the fist few days already, leaving very little chance for survivals, besides some of them which had boats and the ones living in mountains, we should not expect to many survivals.

Further one should note that the most survivals were simple and poor farmers and sheapards living in moutains at that time usually were not able to write nor read, and the very few survivals who could possibly write, had other things to wurry about as writing down stories, therefore dont expect any valuable details, then most of the stories must have been told at a mouth to mouth bases and could be hidden in tales, songs and religion.

Then original writer, Otto H.Muck was convinced that this was the result of volcanic ashes being carried by the exessive rain as result of the astriod impact.

I cannot confirm this, then I have no ressources to verify it, even then it sounds raisonable to, and could very well be true.     Then the whole is on the same altitude level, between 40° and 50° North, as where island of Atlantis was supposed to be.
