Climate of Siberia and Alaska 12'000 Years ego.

Big parts of actual Alaska and Siberia must have been much warmer, due to the traces of vegetation wich have been found there, they do in fact not correspond to actual climat and were unable to survive in actual climate.    The food found with the frozen mammoths does also not correspond to the actual vegetation too.      Even some of the frozen mammoths did not have digested thier food yet.

In fact this vegetation shows that the climate should have been a thousand Km's further south, (estimated to be around 1500 Km) and the climate change has not been a slow movement, but has been rather a brutal change, leaving no or little chance for survivals.

Northern atlantic 0 °C isotherms of now and before

Ice Cap covered Canada, big parts of north America and Europe.

As this illustration shows, how big parts of Europe, as well the total area of Canada and the whole northern part of actual U.S.A. were all covered with an ice-cap. This illustration shows also that the actual position of the North Pole is eccentric to the center of the ice-cap, in fact it shows that the center of the ice-cap is away of the actual position of the North Pole in a direction opposite to Alaska and Siberia, in other words, the east coast of Greenland, or a little more west. In fact this picture is just an illustration, and not very accurate, and the position of the center may have been anywhere between 20° and 60° west, however outside this limits climate models don't work out well, or even not at all.

The center of Greenland has always been covered with ice.

Center of greenland was covered with ice 12'000 years ago, and never been uncovered, various research teams have drilled up ice as older as 100'000 years, what means that those places have 'always' (at least for that period) been covered with ice.

This means also that the poles could not have been in a place outside a limit such that the Greenland Ice would have melted, this also excludes any civilization having an agriculture activity, and excludes by this the possibility of ever having had Atlantis on this place. (or on the opposite side of the Earth, e.g. Antarctic)

Antarctica has never been uncovered to.

For the above mentioned reasons the Antarctic could never have had an civilization like Atlantis, then also there drillings done by various research teams show the ice being far older as the time period of 9'600 BC of the Atlantean civilization.

This ice being so old excludes also this those suggestions that Antarctic was Atlantis and moved somehow by magic in its actual place, then in this case the ice could not have been older then 12'000 years, instead of over 100'000 years.

What's dessert now, had vegetation in the past.

Big parts of the world who are dessert now, did have vegetation long time ago, then archaeological findings show that parts of the world being dessert today did have vegetation in the past.    This means that the climate was at least different, possibly slightly colder, or that this places could even have been a little further north.

Then when in the case of having the poles not in the same place, the orientation and position of all continents will be different, and this will have an influence on all local climates.

Possible areas with important changes since then could be: Northern Africa, Middle east, Zones around the Nill river, Siberia and Alaska.

Sea-level change.

The sealevel should have been lower 12'000 years ago as it is now, since a lot of constructions have been found all over in the world. (making almost any country find their Atlantis, even the North German island Helgoland is found to be Atlantis)

This constructions have been found in many places in the world up to, and as much as 60 meters below actual sealevel, so we can consider this level as a minimum.    But since as of 170 meters below actual sealevel, the straits of Gibraltar (« Pillars of Hercules ») are becoming to difficult or even impossible to navigate, than any level below this limit renders the navigation totally impossible.    Plato reported on the other hand that one could navigate from the Mediterian trough the «  Pillars of Hercules » to Atlantis, we must therefore consider that the straits where navigable that time, and the sea level could therefore not be more then 170 meters below the actual sealevel.   Considering both minimum change and this maximum change correspond to estimations of most scientists, wich estimate the change to be around 100 to 140 meters below actual sealevel, from which I have chosen 130 meters below actual sealevel.

Anyway 700 meters more ice on the ice-cap of 12'000 years ago freezes enough water to lower the ocean level by almost 140 meters or more, then the ice cap was known to be that time not only bigger in size, but it was known to be higher to.

Temperature changes in case of asteroid or comet impact.

In case of an asteroid or comet impact, we can expect the world temperature to drop first for a few hundred years, because of volcanic dust, smoke and other things being thrown up in the stratosphere, covering up the sky, and causes therefore the avarage world temperature to drop due to the sunlight being filtered and obstructed.

There after we must expect the temperature to rise, and this due to the fact that the gulf stream is able now to reach Europe make the ice-cap melt slowly and make the temperature to rise to the actual level.

To find a proof of such an event, we must look for a temperature curve which drops first, and than rises avove the previous level at a period of about 12'000 years ago.
